As a board-certified psychiatrist, trained at Mount Sinai, I have had the privilege of helping patients from all backgrounds address challenges with family and relationships, work and school, life transitions, identity, and trauma.
I am deeply committed to providing empathic, evidence-based, and inclusive care. Because I believe that all people who need help deserve to receive it, I specialize in working with transgender and gender-diverse patients—individuals for whom, historically, access to quality mental health care has been almost nonexistent.
In my private practice I see individuals from all backgrounds, whether they belong to the LGBTQ+ community or not. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all treatment, and I work hard to understand each person within the broader context of their life.

My approach to treatment is thoughtful and warm, and I work to tailor each individual's treatment to their unique needs.
The first step will be a free 15-minute phone call to help us see whether we are a good fit to work together.
During your first appointment, I will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your current mental health symptoms, your health history, and various aspects of your background and life experiences. This allows me to gain a clear understanding of your unique needs so that we can determine the most appropriate treatment going forward and, together, develop a plan.

I offer medication management and psychotherapy.
For my gender-diverse patients, I also conduct specialized evaluations such as for letters of support for gender-affirming care or for the FAA Gender Dysphoria Mental Health Status Report.
Policies
Policies
I see patients privately or out-of-network with insurance, meaning I can provide a superbill for later reimbursement. I do not take Medicaid or Medicare.
Currently I am only providing services to individual adults via telepsychiatry through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You must be physically located in the state of New York during the time of your appointment.
